MFA estimates there are between 100-200 Macedonian nationals in Israel

It is estimated there are between 100-200 Macedonian nationals in Israel, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Monday.

The MFA said a number of citizens called the Embassy of North Macedonia in Tel Aviv and the emergency lines in the ministry, seeking assistance for their evacuation.

Sunday night, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania announced that the first plane with Albanian, Macedonian and Kosovo citizens who sought to leave Israel after the declaration of martial law had arrived. The passengers were welcomed by Albanian Minister IgliHasani.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds that in the coming days there will be more special flights to Tel Aviv, in coordination with the ministries of the countries in the region to help all citizens who want to return to their countries.
