The Ministry of Health informs that starting Monday, through the website – vakcinacija.mk, registration for free vaccination against seasonal flu for risk groups of the population begins. In order to provide protection to a larger number of people, this year the ministry increased the amount of purchased vaccines, whereby 60,000 doses of four types of seasonal flu vaccines were purchased for free vaccination.
Free vaccination will cover the following risk groups: Elderly people (over 65 years old), people with chronic diseases, health workers, pregnant women, children aged 6 months to 5 years, people placed in institutions for social protection of the elderly and persons employed in institutions for social protection of the elderly
Vaccination is planned to begin in the second half of October.
