We have communicated with 150 Macedonian nationals so far in Israel, of whom 60 have already returned, whereas the remaining 90 are expected to arrive tomorrow, said Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani on Thursday.
FM Osmani told reporters the Embassy in Cairo is in communication with a couple inside Gaza, after they failed to get out of the area before the only border crossing to Egypt was closed.
“They are safe for the time being. The situation there is fluctuating and they are at some risk. We are working with the authorities in Egypt, but there is currently no way to get them out of Gaza,” said Osmani.
