After waiting for 17 years, we are entering the final phase of the accession process. We have started the EU accession screening process and all the reports so far are positive. We have one more challenge ahead of us, and that is the change of the Constitution in order to continue with the negotiations on clusters, which we expect will impose an accelerated pace of reforms, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi said on Friday.
“I believe that now is the right time for all political parties that promote European integration in their programs, to demonstrate their commitment in action,” Xhaferi said in his address at the “Conference on Inter-parliamentary dialogue to further promote the European integration of the Western Balkans” held in Skopje.
