The jars for winter preserves remained empty this year, the Shtip pensioners that protested at the Sloboda City Square said Monday.

Sonja Arsovska, head of the Initiative Board for the protest of pensioners in Shtip, says for them, this winter there will be empty jars, but in the government buffet you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner for 250 Macedonian denars.

Is this a one-size-fits-all society when we hold empty jars in our hands? But why? Because with the 5.3 percent increase in pensions, we could not make winter food reserves.

Pensioners demand a linear increase of MKD 5,000 and a minimum pension of MKD 18,000.
