Police officers from the Bureau of Public Security in coordination with the Skopje PSO, after previously received operational information and a search order from the Basic Criminal Court Skopje, on 28.10.2023, conducted a search in the Idrizovo Penitentiary, in a semi-open ward, during which 63 mobile phones were found phones, 82 knives, 4 spikes, 71 phone chargers and narcotics.
During the taking of official actions, a larger group of prisoners gathered and offered active resistance, but they were overpowered after measures and activities were taken. As a result, ten police officers were injured, and some of the prisoners have also suffered physical injuries
