The position of VMRO-DPMNE is that there is no need to spend additional millions of people’s money because of the mathematics and political calculations of the already defeated politicians who are part of the DUI and SDSM-led government. In one election cycle, let’s reduce the stress among the citizens, the political burden that they carry and lead Macedonia away from this situation in which it is today, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, when asked to comment on the call of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski for the participation of a party in the working group for determining a date for the upcoming elections.
“We are ready to immediately agree on a date for the first round of presidential elections and for the second round of presidential and parliamentary elections. Whatever date they choose, we will support it. Let’s not incur additional costs,” Mickoski said.
