Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, accompanied by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, as part of her official visit to the country, visited the company “Dzanviki DOO”, which specializes in processing fruits and vegetables.
With around 2.3 million euros secured through EU funds, this is the largest IPARD project in North Macedonia. It is a family business, where mainly women are employed and a company that has successfully used the IPARD funds to expand and modernize its production.
According to Leyen, the EU is committed to the fastest possible integration of both the country and the region, which, through the support of the EU and funds, are provided with accelerated economic growth and opportunities for positive transformation in all fields in the countries of the Western Balkans.
