Our homework is to continue to work swiftly and with dedication until full EU integration, as we did with our integration into NATO. Membership into the European Union is our goal, and we have no other alternative, stressed Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski at a press conference Wednesday after the conclusion of an informal meeting of allied NATO leaders from the region that he and NATO’s Jens Stoltenberg hosted.
The Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajic and the President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic also attended the meeting.
The focus of the talks between the leaders were current issues that are important for NATO as well as issues related to the stability and security of the region.
