Investigative police services with the Kochani Department of Interior are working to solve a case involving a deceased 74-year-old woman, which is suspected to be the result of domestic violence.
On November 23, around 09:30 am, it was reported that V.R. was found dead in her home in the village of Beli, where she lived with her 53-year-old son M.R. Later, during an examination of the body of the deceased, a doctor from the Kochani Emergency Medical Service noticed traces of violence. In coordination with the public prosecutor, the body was given for an autopsy, according to the police report.
Police officers arrested the deceased woman’s son, and after the case is fully cleared and documented, an appropriate report will be filed.
