The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has said that the low electricity rate will be reinstated in the period between 1 pm and 3 pm as of December 1.
“By reinstating the low electricity rate, households will have a total of 11 hours of cheaper electricity over the course of 24 hours from Monday through Saturday, and 24 hours of low electricity rate on Sunday. Data have shown that the investment cycle in renewable energy sources has resulted in increased electricity production, thus affecting the lowering of the daily price,” said ERC head Marko Bislimoski.
As of December 1, households will use the low electricity rate between 1 pm and 3 pm and between 10 pm and 7 am (Monday-Saturday), and all-day on Sunday.
