The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released on Tuesday the 2022 PISA results, measuring the literacy of 15-year-olds in 81 participating nations.

The negative consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on the quality of education on a global scale were confirmed by this study, which was conducted in 2022.

With a minimal difference, the results for Macedonia maintain the level that was measured in 2018. Out of a total of 81 countries that were part of the testing, with a score of 389, our country is in 61st place according to the results in mathematics.

With 359 points achieved in the measurement of language literacy, i.e. reading comprehension, the country ranked 71st, while in natural sciences our students scored 380 points, which ranks the country in 68th place in Europe.
