Тhe mayor of Centar municipality Goran Gerasimovski has denied the information that he gave permission to Croatian media to enter the “Johan Heinrich Pestaloci” elementary school in Skopje, where the kidnapped and murdered 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska went to school.

“I have neither had contact nor given permission to Croatian journalists to enter the school. The entrance is strictly controlled and only the principal of the school can give permission to enter,” said Gerasimovski in a Facebook post.

Earlier, the media reported on the Zagreb daily Jutarnji list regarding the murder of pupil Vanja Gjorchevska that shook the region, in which it was stated that the school’s principal chased away journalists who wanted to take pictures, and as they said, they had permission from the municipality mayor Gerasimovski.

The journalists spoke with Vanja’s teacher, who informed the mother that she did not come to school on the day of her disappearance.
