The expert examination of the two pieces of firearms, linked to the murder of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska and 74-year-old Panche Zhezhovski, is underway. Once it is completed, the analyses will be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Macedonian Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski said on Monday.
Asked whether more precise details are available as to the location of the vehicle of 74-year-old Panche Zhezhovski, which was used to carry out the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska, Spasovski said as the criminal charges are filed the full investigation is in the hands of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office is looking at all these details on the basis of the data collected, and data that will be collected by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. So I wouldn’t be able to share further information and that would not be good for the ongoing investigation, because we cannot conduct it in the media. It must be conducted in the Public Prosecutor’s Office,” said Spasovski.
