Albania is set to return a total of twenty orthodox frescoes stolen from Macedonian churches to N. Macedonia on Friday, as part of a cooperation agreement signed by the two countries in 2022.

The Christian Orthodox frescoes, as the Macedonian Ministry of Culture elaborated, will be properly packed so that they are not damaged during transport and will be taken to the Museum of Macedonia, from where, after the protection process, they will be exhibited and then returned to the Macedonian Orthodox Church.
