The Macedonian Minister of Health, Dr. Fatmir Mexhiti, and the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Maja Manoleva, attended on Sunday the presentation of the helicopter with the new emergency medical aid equipment. Mexhiiti emphasized that a significant step is being taken for our citizens, for the protection of patients and for the modernization and improvement of the health system.
“With this cooperation between the two Ministries of Health and Interior, we enable the joint action of the members of the helicopter unit at the Ministry of Interior and health institutions. The helicopter has medical equipment for air transport, and the September 8 General Hospital will provide an experienced professional team to accompany the patient. The citizens of North Macedonia should know that we are always here for their needs,” Mexhiti said.
