As of Tuesday, the police have two vehicles equipped with the PolCam system, internal device designed to control and monitor traffic flow and violations. The Polish PolCam system is irreplaceable when documenting traffic violations: running red lights, driving over the speed limit, illegal overtaking, and other violations, while the speed limit for vehicles will be detected from a fixed and variable distance, the Interior Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.

The device allows a video recording of 25 photographs per second, with the help of two cameras situated in the front and back of the vehicles recording both during night and day, a map showing the location in the video, and an option for automatic license plate detection for vehicles that have committed violations.
