The Macedonian Ministry of Health will form the expert committee for the case of the mother from Delchevo, who died on December 26, 2023 at the intensive care unit in Skopje, and was brought in a bad health state from the Shtip Clinical Hospital.
On December 28, the management of the Shtip Clinical Hospital announced the order of the event and what happened at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. It also states that according to the Committee for Quality Control and Ethical Issues of Clinical Hospital-Shtip, there are no omissions in the treatment of the patient.
The newborn of the 26-year-old mother is in the Intensive Care Department of the Skopje Children’s Clinic.
