The Skopje-based Criminal Court, upon proposal of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office, has extended for another 30 days the detention of the five suspects in the murder of 14-year-old VanjaGjorchevska and 74-year-old PancheZhezhovski.
VeliborManevski, VlatkoKeshishov and Bore Videvski are suspected of abducting and assisting in the murder of both Gjorchevska and Zhezhovski. Vanja’s father, AleksandarGjorchevski, is suspected of helping in the abduction of his daughter. They have been in custody in the Shutkapenitentiary since the beginning of December.
The detention of Stefan Dimkovski, who is suspected of helping the prime suspect in the double murder, LjupchoPalevskiPalcho, to flee to Turkey has been extended.
Vanja was abducted at the entrance of her building on November 27. On the same day, according to the statements of the suspects, she was murdered. Two and a half hours after her abduction, that is around 10 a.m., she was shot. Her body was found on December 3 in the area of the village of Brazda and GornoOrizari.
