Will we have to wait for a new Parliament composition and a new government to possibly correct the officials’ salaries? Last year, they were raised by as much as 78 percent.
If this does not happen by then, with the new salary increase, scheduled to happen in March of this year, the officials would receive another 400 euros raise.
And while the Government reminds almost every day that with salary increases this year the minimum wage will go up to MKD 22,500 it omits to mention that it will be lower than the 400 euros that will supplement officials’ salaries as a raise.
The wage increase comes as a result of the growth of the average monthly salary in the country.
