Property prices in Skopje went up by seven percent

Apartment prices in Skopje in the fourth quarter of 2023 increased by seven percent compared to the same period of the previous year, and by one percent compared to the third quarter, according to the National Bank’s apartment price index.

The latest data on housing prices is a continuation of the decrease in growth that has been recorded since the beginning of last year.

In the first quarter of 2023, the prices of apartments recorded an increase of 18.8 percent on an annual level, that is, of 1.3 percent on a quarterly level. In the second quarter of last year, annual growth was 12.9 percent, and quarterly growth was 1.6 percent. The decrease in prices continued in the third quarter, when the annual growth was 11 percent, and compared to the previous quarter, it was 2.9 percent.

In the previous year of 2022, there was an upward trend, in the first quarter the price of apartments increased by 12.4 percent on an annual basis, followed by a growth of 16.6 percent in the second quarter, by 21.2 percent in the third and by 20.6 percent in the fourth quarter.
