As a party with the largest intra-party democracy in the country, SDSM implements a transparent and democratic procedure for selecting the best candidate. SDSM chooses the winning candidate who will be the future president of the Republic. The nomination of possible candidates for the president of the state within the local boards in the municipal organizations of the SDSM is already in progress, the SDSM spokesperson Bogdanka Kuzeska told a press conference on Thursday.
“In addition, a public call for self-nominations has been opened, through an advertisement in daily newspapers in Macedonian and Albanian. The public call with all documents and forms is also available on the official SDSM website starting today. We give the opportunity for self-candidacy to people who are not from SDSM but share social democratic values,” said the party spokesperson.
