More than 100 citizens of Macedonia are forced to turn to the public and beg for money to cover basic medical needs every year, the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party said on Sunday.
From the Government’s promise of free healthcare, to opening a number for donations for treatment almost every 3 days, because the Fund does not cover the treatment of patients. With SDS and DUI, the people are left to solidarity among themselves, the Government does nothing to help them,” reads the party’s press release.
VMRO-DPMNE points out that there is a regular shortage of medicines in the clinics. Insulin deficiencies are the most common.
