Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani said Wednesday the issue of personal documents has been communicated with Greece but urged that instead of having initiatives to delay the process and gain political points, focus should be placed on the issuance of documents.
“The Prespa Agreement is an international treaty. I think that instead of giving false hope to citizens that the Agreement’s provisions would be changed, let’s work on eliminating the obstacles for citizens after February 13, let’s speed up the issuance of passports and stickers for register plates. I believe it is better to tell citizens that the obligation has been in place for five years. Therefore, I believe this approach is healthier than gaining political points on something that cannot be done,” FM Osmani told the media.
