Identity cards under the “Republic of Macedonia” title continue to be valid even after February 12, the Macedonian Ministry of Interior informed on Tuesday.
But this applies only to the internal use of the document. That is, the citizens will be able to complete all their obligations and exercise their rights with the identity card whose term has not expired, and which bears the title “Republic of Macedonia”, the Ministry of Interior said.
After February 12, ID cards with the “Republic of Macedonia” title will be valid when performing banking services, picking up postal items, extracting statements and other citizens’ needs.
