The Macedonian Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri expects the Parliament to quickly pass the new laws on secondary education and on vocational education and training which yesterday, on the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science were adopted at a session of the Government.

“The new Law on secondary education will enable the development of key competencies and skills among young people, with a particular focus on digital ones, necessary for further education and successful employment. For the first time, career counseling, a career counselor and a coordinator for practical education are introduced, and student organization and participation in decision-making are also regulated,” Shaqiri said in a Facebook post.
