The reform of the public administration in Macedonia is a criterion for joining the European Union and must not be a personal whim of any Government or any Minister, said Deputy Minister of Information Society, Stefan Andonovski.
According to the deputy minister, “the VMRO-DPMNE reformist Government will make a serious transformation in the public sector after the elections”.
“Laws must not be adopted with a so-called EU flag fast-track procedure, without debate, without public involvement. The law and according to the SIGMA reports is lacking in key things, such as the performance appraisal system, which instead of developing it, they simplify and subjectify it. After the elections, the VMRO-DPMNE reformist Government will make a serious transformation in the public sector that will result in happy and successful employees, efficient public administration and quality services for citizens,” Andonovski said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
