Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Policies Slavica Grkovska says she expects the United States blacklist to continue to expand.

“I hope the list will be supplemented. I see this as added help from our international partners in the form of incentive for national institutions to do their job,” Deputy PM Grkovska told Voice of America (VOA) in Macedonian language.

Grkovska adds it is primarily a domestic task for national institutions and the judiciary to raise these cases and ensure there is an outcome, in order for those suspected of high-profile corruption to be held accountable, and “this requires courageous people”.
