At a session held on Thursday, members of the Parliament’s Committee on Election and Appointment Issues endorsed AbdushDemiri to become member of the State Election Commission (SEC).
A two-thirds majority is required at a plenary session for Demiri, who is nominated by the opposition bloc of ethnic Albanians “European Alliance for Change” to be appointed SEC member.
