At Sunday’s fourth congress of the Alliance for Albanians, Zijadin Sela was elected as party leader, while Arben Taravari was relieved of his duties.
On Friday in Skopje, the wing of the Alliance for Albanians led by Arben Taravari held a congress, during which he was re-elected as party leader.
The split within the party began after Taravari announced that he would support the opposition bloc of ethnic Albanians in the elections, while Sela said that the party was not consulted and that they would participate in the elections independently.
