As of Friday, the market inspectorate is starting controls in the field for increased products prices or if the traders decide on unrealistically high prices.
The measure of frozen prices, which applied to some of the basic food products, ends. There will be no extension, but therefore it is expected that the problem of enormous price increases will be solved by the Law on Unfair Trade Practices, which is still stuck in Parliament.
The Government previously said that they do not expect prices to rise sharply, but if the traders set unrealistically high and non-market prices again, they will be sanctioned with high fines.
