The employees of the Macedonian Post Office again protested in front of the directorate of this state enterprise. They say they will not give up their demands for regular wages, raises and better working conditions.

“The financial situation of Macedonian Post is seriously threatened. We do not provide enough funds for salary. We have been providing funds through credits and loans for several years. A moment has come when we no longer have anywhere to secure funds. That’s why we demand that the Government, as the owner, commits to reforms and providing financial resources for ongoing operations,” said the head of the Post trade union Boro Veligdenov at a press conference.

About 2,000 people are employed in the Macedonian Post, and about 600 of them are deployed in the field.
