Macedonia was going through difficult transitions, was at crossroads. Difficult challenges loomed over it. And I don’t want it to sound like some pre-election cliché, but this time Macedonia finds itself amidst its most trying period since its creation until today. We are not at a crossroads, but this time, without a doubt, the state has already gone in the wrong direction, and we must bring it back, let it belong to the people and stand on the right path, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski the promotion of the MP candidates on Saturday.
“And quite naturally, and I am really aware that the eyes are directed towards VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition, because the only real force for change, the only hope in the eyes of the people that something can be fixed is exactly this political structure. And we do not have the luxury, we do not have the choice not to be ambitious, because otherwise there will be nothing of Macedonia. And that must not happen, because Macedonia has missed a lot all these years. Many lives of many people have been wasted waiting for the better time to come that we all believed in and hoped for. Macedonia is stuck in the waiting room and lives the matrix of constant disappointment and ugly reality, which is already becoming a habit,” said party leader Mickoski.
Mickoski pointed out that many things that happened during these thirty years of independence contributed to people becoming disinterested in the important things and processes in the country.
