Eleven injured Macedonian citizens in the accident in Italy have been sent home

Regarding yesterday’s accident in Italy, the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs received information through the Embassy in Rome that after appropriate medical assistance for minor injuries received in a hospital in the city of San Benedetto del Tronto, 11 passengers, citizens of Macedonia, were released yesterday and are in good health, while the 12th passenger, our citizen, is in the hospital in Ancona, where he will undergo surgery on Friday for leg and arm injuries.

The Italian media published photos of the traffic accident on Thursday involving a bus transporting Macedonian tourists, in which the driver of the bus was killed and 12 passengers were injured.
