VMRO-DPMNE condemns the prevention of the media in their work, the indicated incident was not noticed nor created by the people who are the organizers of the rally, the party says, after the reaction of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia for last night’s incident at the rally against the TV24 reporters’ team.
“The freedom of the media and the provision of space for real and accurate information are the pinnacle of a democracy, but also an indicator of the degree of the democratic environment in the country.
We regret the insults to the journalistic team of TV 24 Vesti and we condemn the behavior of the individual who sent insults. At the same time, we point out the atmosphere in which the government, SDS and Kovachevski started a hunt against the media and hence the possibility of provocateurs being infiltrated,” said the largest opposition party.
