At the proposal of the Government, the Parliament voted on April 1, 2024 for a new deadline for the completion of the highway, by the end of 2026. The previous deadline was until December 31, 2023.
“We have already announced that according to the instructions of the supervising engineer and the entire team working on the part of the supervision and FIDIC experts, a recommendation was made to extend the deadline due to the 13 new landslides that appeared” said Transport Minister BlagojBochvarski.
