DUI’s votes in the second round will go to the party that will accept the president of the state to be elected in the Parliament in the future, said Artan Grubi from the ranks of DUI, when asked to whom DUI would give their votes if their candidate Bujar Osmani failed in the first round of the presidential elections.
“We have a very clear position and Mr. Ahmeti also said that, and this is also in our program, we demand that the president be elected in the Parliament with a two-thirds majority plus Badenter’s majority, which would also ensure a social consensus that could be abused by SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE together which can outvote other communities because together they have 80 MPs. Therefore, in order to ensure the will of other communities, we impose a solution with Badenter’s majority. That is the condition for a coalition in the second round if Osmani does not enter the second round,” Grubi said.
