I hear Artan Grubi setting the condition for DUI’s support for the second round of the presidential elections. DUI has publicly announced that the condition is the acceptance of a change to the Constitution in order to elect the head of state in Parliament, just like Ali Ahmeti decides to, the VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said at a VMRO-DPMNE rally in the Municipality of Centar.
The opposition leader pointed out that for VMRO-DPMNE it is clear that this is not acceptable, the main question is what is Stevo Pendarovski’s position on this condition of DUI and Ali Ahmeti.
“They came out of his office this morning to shyly say that it would be better to be elected in immediate elections. Stevo, you continue to be an analyst, and you want to have another five years as president. Come out, here’s your opportunity, today, tomorrow at one of those half-empty events and say if it is acceptable for you in the future to change the Constitution and for the President of Macedonia to be elected in the Parliament, and not direct elections as was done before. Do you want to stifle the people’s voice, the sovereign in Macedonia, and do you want to allow the fate and future of Macedonia to be condemned somewhere in an office in Zajas,” said Mickoski.
