The SSM Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the KSOM Confederation of Trade Union Organizations of Macedonia have called on all workers to join them in marching in the streets demanding fair pay and better working conditions during a protest rally on May 1, International Workers’ Day.
As the SSM informs, this was arranged at the joint meeting of the president of the SSM Slobodan Trendafilov and the secretary of the Council of the SSM Zlatko Cvetkovski with the KSOM president Marjan Risteski and the KSOM general secretary Gotse Delchev Todev.
“SSM and KSOM heard the requests of the workers about the need to unify the unions and this year together they are organizing the workers’ protest on the International Labor Day, May 1. The Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the Confederation of Trade Union Organizations of Macedonia are coming together to the workers’ protest on May 1 under the motto “We, the workers”,” SSM said in a press release.
