Insurance companies have returned the old prices for auto liability insurance when registering vehicles after the Government’s decision was published in the official gazette.
Prices have returned to the level of April 24, when they increased by 15.4%.
Earlier, the Automobile Liability Commission recommended the Government to restore the prices of auto policies.
Insurance companies reacted to this decision stating that it “represents a direct threat to the financial stability of the insurance sector, setting a regulatory limit in price policies that is contrary to the recommendations of the EC report on the progress of our country, which could seriously lead it to the issue of care for the insured”.
