The Macedonian Ministry of Interior informed the public that on Friday (17.05.2024) police officers from the Department for International Police Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior and the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Interior Department completed the extradition process from Kosovo to the Republic of N. Macedonia of Besim Krasniqi (44).
The fugitive from justice was wanted on international warrant by order of the Skopje Basic Criminal Court for serving a prison sentence for the crimes of robbery, serious crimes against general security and punishment for preparation in connection with the crime of terrorism.
Krasniqi was transferred to the Idrizovo Penitentiary.
