Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi has scheduled the session for election of the new Government on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Prime Minister-designate and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski on Tuesday submitted the proposal for the composition of the government and the program for its work in the legislature.
The Parliamentary Rules of Procedure provide for a session for the election of the Government to last a maximum of two days.
The PM-designate explains the program and the proposal for the composition of the government, after which a unique search is conducted in the Parliament.
Voting for the election of the Government is carried out according to the proposal for the composition of the Government as a whole, by public vote. Voting is done after the end of the search, and no later than 24 hours.
The government is elected if the majority of the total number of MPs voted for it.
