Crime is a cancerous wound of our society and one of the main reasons for taking away the country from the people. No one is above the people, the law and the Constitution. There will be accountability for crime because it destroys our common future. That responsibility must be with a first and last name, regardless of the background of the person, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski in a Facebook post, after the meeting with Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski.

The fight against corruption and organized crime is the main priority of the Government, the PM said.

“Today I had a meeting with the Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski about this important topic. In the week in which we promoted new foreign and domestic investments, we do not forget the key segment of our agenda – the fight against corruption,” reads Mickoski’s post.
