From July 1 to August 31, a summer traffic regime is introduced on the state roads in Macedonia, which prohibits the movement of heavy goods vehicles with a total weight of over 15 tons, during the weekend and on days with extremely high temperatures.
The terms are as follows:
– Friday between 5 pm and 10 pm,
– Saturday between 9 am and 6 pm and
– Sunday between 9 am and 10 pm.
On the main road A2 section: Skopje – Ohrid – Skopje, the movement of heavy goods vehicles whose total weight exceeds 7.5 tons is prohibited during the weekends, in the following intervals:
– Friday between 3 pm and 10 pm,
– Saturday between 7 am and 12 pm and between 6 pm to midnight and
– Sunday between 7 am and 10 pm.
