VMRO-DPMNE: If Gligorov turned down $100 million for the name change, Zaev and Filipche should say how much money they accepted for the name’s sale

If Kiro Gligorov refused $100 million to change the country’s name as stated in the CIA declassified files, then the question arises of how much money Zoran Zaev and his protégé and friend Venko Filipche accepted for the name change, or rather for completing that work. The question arises logically after the latest releases of CIA files, said the ruling VMRO-DPMNE on Friday.

“In addition, there’s the fact that Zoran Zaev and Venko Filipche have become enormously and inexplicably wealthy after seven years in power. This is evident from the fact that the former is buying shares in airline companies, and the latter has a golden visa in Dubai. This logical question deserves an answer from several aspects. First, it is an issue of importance for the country and citizens, second, if they did take money it would be qualified as illegal activity,” the ruling party pointed out.

“Citizens deserve an answer to this logical question that arose after the publication of CIA files stating that Gligorov turned down an offer to take money for the name change. So if Gligorov said no, and the same issue was closed by Zaev and Filipche, they should say for how much money they committed high treason,” VMRO-DPMNE underlined.
