Approximately 18,000 new jobs have been created in the past six quarters in the Republic of Macedonia, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Bojan Stojanoski, citing official data from the State Statistics Office (SSO).

According to the ruling party’s MP, the number of employees in the country has gone up from about 691 thousand to over 709 thousand citizens who are employed.

“This is a clear indicator that economic policies are yielding results and that economic growth is turning into real job opportunities and a better standard for citizens,” said the MP.

Stojanoski informs that there are currently 17 investments agreed in the TIDZ zones, which should bring up to 5,000 new jobs in the coming period.
