When asked by reporters whether SDSM is again accusing VMRO-DPMNE of being behind the director of the state inspectorate for agriculture, who was suspected of taking a EUR 50,000 bribe and, VMRO-DPMNE MP Valentin Manasievski said that the law applies to all, no matter from which party the accused comes.
“SDS behaves like a small child who is given a cake and is so happy, they also rejoice and it is very good for their soul when some crime or corruption occurs, and even more so if the person is somehow connected to VMRO-DPMNE, that is a complete hit for them.
When their people were arrested and detained for whom there is a reasonable suspicion that they committed a crime, for example Artan Grubi, we did not hear from SDSM either distancing or denying, but only defending the crime that they directly or indirectly enabled. We have not heard them speak so loudly about it,” Manasievski noted.
And once again, I would like to repeat our stance, which is clear, concise and unambiguous, and that is, anyone who has violated the law, regardless of whether they are from SDS, VMRO-DPMNE, or any other political party, must be held accountable. We must all be equal before the law and there is no playing with the law,” Manasievski said in response to a reporter’s question.
