The first meeting of the Founding Board of the Canadian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce was held in Toronto, an initiative that has the ambition to become a focal point of Macedonian business life in Canada.
The meeting laid the foundations for the future activities of the Chamber, with a clear focus on supporting Macedonian entrepreneurs, professionals and companies, as well as on creating a strong and connected business community that will be able to act in a coordinated, strategic and joint manner. Through this approach, the Chamber intends to strengthen business relations within the Macedonian community in Canada, but also to open a wider space for trade, investment and cooperation between Canada and Macedonia.
The Chamber is positioning itself as a platform that will encourage entrepreneurship, create conditions for professional development and build concrete bridges between Macedonian businesses on both sides of the Atlantic. The intention is to build a stable economic network that will not only be symbolic, but will produce real results through partnerships, investments and the exchange of knowledge and experiences, said the founders.
The Founding Board noted its determination to grow this initiative into a strong driver of economic connectivity, with a clear orientation towards long-term growth, strengthening the Macedonian business identity in Canada, and deepening economic ties with Macedonia.
