Doctor from the Clinic of Toxicology and professor at the Faculty of Medicine Niko Bekjarovski announced that the numbers of newly infected with COVID-19 will increase in the coming period.
“The numbers in the daily COVID-19 statistics will start to grow rapidly in the coming weeks as a result of the arrival of Omicron-BA 4 and 5 and that is the bad news. The good news is that the hospitals will still be half empty,” wrote Dr. Niko Bekjarovski on Facebook.
The Ministry of Health informed on Tuesday that out of 1,101 tests performed, 168 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours.
