In the past few days, EUR 5.5 million in subsidies for marked heads of cattle have been paid to around 9,700 breeders, Goce Georgievski with the Commission for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of SDSM, said at a press conference on Saturday.

Georgievski pointed out that the payment of the financial support for surnamed bee families in the amount of 210 million denars has been made to about 5,900 beekeepers.

“With the adopted budget review for 2022, 2.7 billion denars have been secured, funds with which this year we will completely clear the outstanding obligations to farmers, and we will also start with advance payment to farmers. The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) has a plan. We have a plan and we know what needs to be done to get through the crisis as well and efficiently as possible. We have established a dynamic for the payment of subsidies in which no one will be neglected”, said Georgievski.
